PRODUCT INFORMATION
Finishes The finish for each light are presented with the product descriptions found throughout this website. Finishes beginning with a number zero (“0”) are a hand applied finishing process consisting of five step rusting and staining completed with a sealer coat. All finishes beginning with a number between one and nine are a low gloss, textured, baked-on powder coated enamel, which are suitable for interior and exterior locations. There are no finish choices for products found on this website, as the lights are already finished when posted.
Our finish colors are broken into two groups: Solid Color Finishes and Combination Color Finishes. Solid colors are applied to all surfaces of the fixture. For fixtures where a combination color finish is available, the accent color is applied to the trees, trout or fence while the base color is applied to all the other parts of the fixture, including the animal.

Diffusers Several of our fixtures use a diffuser to cover the light source. There are several possibilities: Almond (AL) mica, Amber (AM) mica, Ivory Bark paper (IV), Beige Arcylic (BA), Amber Acrylic (AA), White Acrylic (WA) and Morus Paper (ML). Mica is composed of two naturally occurring materials: mica plate and shellac. Therefore, the color and intensity is highly variable and adds to its uniqueness. Bark paper is handmade in Mexico and is back with a 14 pt white styrene. Morus Paper is also a handmade paper that is off-white colored and textured. Morus Paper is aslo backed with a 14 pt white styrene. Remember, these are only the possibilities, as there are no diffuser choices for products found on this website, as the lights are already finished when posted.
Pendant Hanging Possibilities There are three possible ways to hang pendants, where indicated in the product descriptions, adjustable stem, black cord or chain. All include a matching ceiling canopy that can be mounted on either a flat or vaulted ceiling. Note: There will be only one of these hanging choices available for each fixture and substitutions are generally not available, however, we are flexible.
Adjustable Stem (ST). A telescoping stem with an adjustment range of 15 (min.) to 30 (max.) inches. Additional stem extension kits are available, up to a maximum of 14’.

Customizations There is no way to customize any of the products shown in this website. They are what they are. However, since we also make the lights, you can go to our main website www.avalanche-ranch.com to special order any fixture there.
UL Approval We only sell lights that are UL Listed for US and Canadian markets, which means that Underwriters Laboratories (UL) rigid construction and wiring standards are followed, that only UL approved parts and components are used, and that UL has tested and evaluated representative samples of the lights and found they meet UL's requirements. Using UL approved lights is important not only for safety reasons, but also to meet local building code. Only those fixtures featured in under the Exterior Lights section are UL approved for wet locations, which means they can be subjected to direct rain. All other fixtures are approved for dry (indoor) locations or an outdoor location protected from direct rain (this is called a "damp" location.)
General All the light fixtures we sell are rated as 120-volt, AC. Each fixture comes complete with all hardware required for installation. In order to keep our prices and shipping costs as low as possible, some lights require minor assembly, usually not requiring more than 30 minutes to an hour to complete.
